You love the sound of tubes? So do we! Our Tube Direct Box pairs a very high-impedance input
with a high-end buffered tube stage for the special benefit of sensitive sources. The result of this
circuitry is the generation of a high proportion of ear-pleasing harmonic distortion, adding warmth and
clarity to the signal. After the tube stage the signal goes through a LUNDAHL transformer, balancing and galvanically isolating it in the process, to an XLR output. Moreover we have integrated a phone jack pass-through output for slaving the signal to the instrument amplifier. On the input side there are two bridged 6.3 mm/1/4” jack sockets. The GAIN switch is used to select the gain factor. A ground lift switch for the input section and a ground on switch for the XLR output help to avoid ground loops.
